Tack strip and wood trim around seat were removed to access staples. All staples were removed and the red fabric pieces were used as patterns for the new purple fabric. Purple fabric was stapled in place and trimmed at edges. The wood trim was air-nailed back on and cording was hot glued around all edges to hide staples (this furniture is used for theatre only and reupholstered and trimmed often).
